It’s that time of the year, Houston RODEOOOOOO!!! If you are from Texas then you already know what I’m talking about. The Houston Rodeo is HUGE and so much fun! I look forward to it every year and try to go to a few concerts if I can! Literally everybody goes to the Houston Rodeo, it’s so crazy busy every single day! When the rodeo comes to town, everybody turns into a full on Texan cowboy/cowgirl! It is the best, hands down.
Rodeo fashion is awesome – it is such a huge deal and everybody pulls out all of their best outfits. For a lot of us though, it’s not our every day or normal wear – but we sure are going to act like it is! The guys of course all just throw on jeans, boots and a button up and they’re ready to go. The girls, we go all out for the Houston Rodeo. If you live in Texas and don’t own a pair of cowboy boots – you need to go buy you some….like now….seriously! I mean you live in the Lone Star State, what are you doing?! *Side Note – I do have real boots, there are just in storage and I couldn’t find them!lol
Literally pretty much anything goes at the rodeo! There is usually a lot of turquoise, lace, bell bottoms, boots, hats, and everything over the top. I love all the outfits from the rodeo! I mean you could dress up anything and throw on anything in your closet with some boots and/or cowboy hat and look amazing.
Along with all this fun fashion, the rodeo is so much fun! I mean music, food, rides! If you have never been to the Rodeo, I really do suggest you go, at least to try it out! At least to the carnival, food, animal side of it or if you have kids, they would LOVE this! The food is amazing, literally all of it is good. You can get just about fried anything there, it’s awesome.
I put together some other outfits for inspiration below! Even if you aren’t going to the Rodeo (which you should if you have the chance) then you could still use this style for any Texas Country or country concert and look amazing!
Have you ever been to the Houston Rodeo? What is your favorite part of the rodeo? Thank you for stopping by, reading and sharing.
